15.01.10: Start designing, start making a change

Today is an historic day for Open Source House. The first competition is launched. This competition is focused on Ghana and challenges you to design a house for a middle class family in a coastal region in Ghana. The basis for designing is a framework of 8 OS-House principles in which houses and specific elements can be designed, developed and implemented.
Participants from all over the world signed up for the competition. Already more than 750 people signed up. Participating is still possible. The competition will end the 17th of may. Until than you can sign up and submit your design.
